Who we are

UMS Digital is a creative studio based in Chino, California. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean UMS Digital. You can reach us at support@umsdigital.net or by phone on 909-855-4191.

What we collect

Information you give us

We have three forms on this site — the free digital audit, the instant quote, and the call booking. Depending on which one you use, they may collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• Your business name and website address
• What you tell us about your project, your goals and your preferred call time

Everything in those forms is optional in the sense that you choose whether to fill them in. If you'd rather not use a form, email or call us instead.

Information we do not collect

We don't use cookies on this site. We don't run Google Analytics, a Meta pixel, or any other tracking or advertising script. We don't build profiles of visitors, and we don't track you across other websites. If you'd like to verify that, open your browser's developer tools and look at the Network and Application tabs — you'll find nothing.

Our web host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) as part of delivering the site securely, as essentially every web server does. We don't use those logs for marketing.

Why we collect it and what we do with it

We use what you send us to reply to you, prepare a quote or audit, schedule a call, and deliver work you've hired us for. If you become a client, we use your contact details to run the project and to invoice you. That's the whole purpose.

We may email you about your enquiry or your project. We don't add you to a marketing list from a form submission, and any marketing email we do send will have a working unsubscribe link.

Who else sees it

We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with the services we use to operate:

• Netlify — hosts this website and receives form submissions.
• Google Workspace — our business email, where your message lands.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't turn into projects are kept for up to two years, then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as we're working together and for seven years after, because tax and accounting rules require it. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we're legally required to hold it.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email support@umsdigital.net and ask. We'll tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it. There's no charge and no form to fill in. We may ask you to confirm your identity so we don't hand your details to someone else.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because this site does no tracking at all, there is nothing for that signal to switch off — your experience here is the same either way. We do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity on this site over time or across other sites.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions and email are handled by Netlify and Google, both of which encrypt data in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the number of places your information sits deliberately small.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information — for example if we ever add analytics — we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the home page.
